The students  will be able to:

1.      Review and understand the six sequential steps in financial statement analysis.

2.      Effectively analyze, interpret, and use financial statements.

3.      Use financial analysis tools, methods, and techniques to analyze a company's profitability.

4.      Use financial analysis tools, methods, and techniques to analyze a company's risk, including unexpected changes in commodity prices, exchange rates, and interest rates.

5.      Evaluate the quality of income statement and balance sheet information.

6.      Prepare forecasted financial statements.

7.      Review and understand three valuation models.
